As we approach the holiday season, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we've undertaken together at Namaste Brows and Boutique. Today, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every customer who has played a pivotal role in shaping our story.
For those who may not know, this venture marks my foray into the world of brick and mortar business, transitioning from a career in healthcare. The journey has been nothing short of transformative, and I owe it all to the unwavering support and guidance of our cherished customers.
From the outset, I have been committed to infusing the same level of care and dedication into both our customer service and the retail aspect of our boutique. One of my earliest passions, dating back to my childhood, has been a love for earrings. When we opened Namaste Brows and Boutique, I decided to curate a stunning collection of Nepali earrings, each piece meticulously crafted by talented women in Nepal.
The decision to source from Nepali artisans was inspired by a desire to support those who were creating and selling their art on the streets of Kathmandu, particularly around Kathmandu Durbar Square. What I have come to realize is that our customers deeply care about the origins of the products they purchase and the hands that create them. It's a sentiment I once questioned but now wholeheartedly embrace – makers do matter.
Encouraged by our patrons who couldn't get enough of our earrings but desired more, we expanded our boutique offerings. Today, at Namaste Brows and Boutique, we take pride in presenting a beautiful array of handmade Nepali items – from Cashmere shawls and ponchos to felt trivets, mobiles, purses, Christmas ornaments, key rings, hemp fanny bags, woolen accessories, and much more.
Listening to our customers' desires has been a cornerstone of our growth, and it's a principle we hold dear. Our boutique now boasts a diverse selection, and it brings me immense joy to announce that our one-of-a-kind collections have become a go-to for holiday shopping.
In our pursuit of growth and excellence, we've also ventured into Holiday Craft Markets across the Twin Cities. This year alone, we've participated in over 26 vendor events, with six more planned for December. It's an experience that has brought a myriad of encounters – from admirers who may not make a purchase at an event but later visit our store to those who instantly fall in love with our offerings.
I am particularly grateful for the opportunity to represent the handwork of my Nepali sisters during these events. Not only do I get to share the rich tapestry of our culture, but I also have the privilege of contributing to the empowerment of hardworking and talented women in Nepal. The stories and traditions I've been able to share have been met with genuine interest and curiosity, creating connections that go beyond commerce.
